Yeah i have appointment on Tuesday. She did initially say sometimes it is difficult to find one until after 17 weeks, but I have read many other posts from women on this site using dopplers after 10 weeks to ensure LO is ok in there. This is my first pregnancy and I am trying to stay positive, DH tells me to not think about it as we have not had any other cause for concern and is fine to wait next week, but I am a nervous wreck and can't think about anything else.

It took forever to find mine at 16 weeks. When they finally did it was strong but you almost couldnt hear it over other noise so they almost missed it.

Well what did they say? Even if they can't hear the heart beat, you should be able to see it on an ultrasound. If it was just by a monitor, don't stress, they could hardly ever catch mine either. Too much movement.

Your baby is still small and very active at that stage in pregnancy. Sometimes they couldn't find my little guy's heart beat at 20 weeks because he was so active and wouldn't hold still. Don't worry about it lady! I'm sure everything is just fine.

Did they schedule another appointment? I'm 17 weeks as well and just went to DR on Monday and it took them a good 10 minutes to find my baby, they just said it was really active.
