Brown discharge

I am 6 weeks 3 days pregnant and have been passing brown discharge for about a week in half. Went to Dr last week and he said yoke sac was at the bottom of my uterus which usually means body is trying to abort. Gave me a rhogam shot and sent me home on bed rest. Said IF my body aborts it would be this passing at Monday or tuesday. Also said I would know a head of time cause I would experience cramping, heavy bleeding and pass large clots...I haven't experienced any of this symptoms as of today but still passing discharge.  Wondering if anyone else has experienced this at 6 weeks and what was ending result? ? I'm taking folic acid, baby aspirin and prenatal vitamins daily...should I ask Dr for other meds??
I'm trying to stay positive because if if lose this one it'll be #4. My husband and it'll gave been trying fir years and no success. At my age(36), dr said time is running out cause women do not reproduce eggs once they're gone, they're gone.

My doctor said brown means old blood there's nothing wrong with that it red that is scary sometimes but some women bleed during their pregnancy I guess it just depends on the person

1143497305347640529_381_5 thanks I will ask about checking levels and ultrasound.

Jenson11210 I'll ask my specialist about drawing g blood every few days to check hcg levels.

Should I ask about taking estrogen or something else to help support the baby and maybe stop the discharge?

Definitely ask why they aren't watching it, especially if you should be seeing a specialist. I had to have blood drawn every three days for almost month with my last miscarriage to watch the numbers grow.

Because it is brown and not bright red or pink, it could just be that you are shedding "old blood" which would have came when you had your period, but yay! No period, because you're pregnant. So your body still needs to shed that old blood, which is brown. I would have them re check your blood levels after a few days. Maybe wait till about 8 weeks and have an ultrasound to check for a heartbeat and everything. Your blood levels should go up, and by 8 weeks they should be able to see some kind of fetal movement on an ultrasound.  Good luck!
