Contractions at 34 weeks

I'm 34 weeks 3 days and have been having contractions going on 4 days. Been checked at l&d and wasn't dilated but 50% effaced. Is labor near? Will baby be okay if she comes? I'm a first time mom

I went into preterm labor at 33 weeks with my son I was 2cm dilated , they stopped the contractions. At 35 weeks I started contracting again and was 3 1/2 cm. I ended up delivering him. He was healthy with no problems. I think your baby will be fine.

I am actually in the same boat as you! I have an appointment in a couple days to see what's going on but I believe its the start of it.

Because his skin was yellow but other than that he was healthy

Yes my baby was born at 34 weeks he was fine breathing on his own just couldn't be in the room with me.

How come he couldn't be in the room? Just curious, tryin to learn as much as possible if she does come soon
