I am pregnant with my second child. With my first my labor was 3 hours and I didn't even know I was in labor. I had a natural birth and didn't feel them stitching me up or cutting me cause you are room focused on getting that baby out and once it's out you don't pay attention to the stitches cause your to busy looking at your precious baby

I am pregnant with my third and I have had two natural births (my labors went so quickly, I had no choice!) and as far as stitches go, I didn't feel anything. I was given an episiotomy that way I wouldn't tear during labor, the area was numbed first and with that needle all I felt was a small pinch. I was however very impatient while the doc stitched me up! Some women get lucky and don't need stitches either. I understand you want to have a natural childbirth and the advice I would give is, do not freak out if that is not how your labor and birth goes. Trust me, none of the little details matter once you are face to face with your bundle of joy! Congratulations and good luck!
