During my first pregnancy with my boys, I felt allot of pain that came in waves, mostly at night and it turned out to be Grayson stretching his legs into my ribcage and pushing my rib out of his way. This pregnancy I am feeling similar discomforts but my baby is low and my midwife said based on where your organs move to its most likely gas and to try and lay on the floor or bed and slowly (very slowly) stretch like a tree to allow the gas bubble to work past the spot. If it gets worse you can always call and depending on what country you are in, here in Canada when a pregnant woman comes in with pain she is never maid to wait.
Your large intestine is under your left rib. I have had the same problem this pregnancy. Now that i am in 3Rd tri, it's only gotten worse. Gas and constipation are to blame. At 14 wks your baby is just above your pubic bone, no where near your ribs.
