I went to woman's center to confirm pregnancy, they did an ultra sound on my belly . Tech sd I measured 7 weeks 1 day & waves of heart beat waves showed 149 the 1st time & a few minutes later heart rate 151..then exactly 2 weeks later I went for 1st Dr appointment.Dr did vaginal ultra sound & sd your measuring 7 weeks 2 days !! I sd that's impossible I was 7 weeks 2 weeks ago... then Dr sd "well let's have you come back in 1 week & see what's going on,I will say there a is a baby & I saw but couldn't hear the heart beat, let's re measures in 1 week & hold off on sending you for labs till then"....what's happening??? I am 44 yrs old. At 38 I went for 12 week ultra sound & baby was only 4 weeks & didn't even exist. Confused & worried ! How am I ever gonna wait 5 more days.

I guess I would advise to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.  You really don't know how perfect the job was at the women's center, everything could be just fine.  You could also call the doctor tomorrow and ask him to order for you two beta hCG tests done by blood draw, 48 hours apart.  That way you will know if the hCG is rising in the appropriate fashion to indicate nothing to worry about, and you'll know that sooner than the scheduled ultrasound.  Good luck.
