37 weeks and after is full term. After 34 is 99% healthy birth. Freat chance fir the baby after 29 weeks to be born absolutely nirmal but small. After 24 weeks a good chance to save the baby if born. This is what I was told by my doc at the hospr. I gave a birth at 31 weeks. And she is doing great! 2 months now.
Atleast 36 weeks is when my hospital won't stop the labor
I'm 30 weeks and 3 days I' think I'm going to have my son early because most of the women on my child fathers side had their babies early
Ok ty ..This is my 3rd deliverly but couldnt remember due to others being so far apart..but one i was 6.2 mths pregnant other two was round 34wks i believe
Term is 37 weeks meaning if you go into labor after then that they will not stop your labor. Full term is 40 weeks or the full length of a pregnancy
It depends on what you mean by "safe." I think preemies as young as 24 weeks can be saved, though they will have health challenges their whole lives from being born so young. But you are well past that point now.
My doctor says that 40 weeks is full term, but that as early as 37 weeks, if the woman were to go into labor, they would not try to stop it.
