I've never taken prenatal vitamins. I always take flinstones with iron because I always get anemic also. I wont swallow a pill. I wouldn't worry about it.Eat some greens, Lima beans...good and good for iron

Try taking the prenatals but change your diet. Drink lots of water and take a probitoic.it doesn't taste so great but it helps with the constipation. I had the same issue. Now I try to eat healthier, drink more water than ever on top of the prenatals and probiotic. You can get it at Whole Foods or Trader Joes.

Take stool softeners or eat fiber one bars. You could even use suppositories. I take magnesium and it makes the constipation go away.

I didnt take prenatals with my first daughter and she was fine. Im highly anemic (have been all my life) and I take iron pills every night (I suggest taking them at night cause they can cause an upset stomach) along with prenatals. I cant swallow the normal pills so I take prenatal chewables.

But the iron pills will help you have more energy and alot of other things. I highly suggest taking them if youre anemic. It can cause alot more problems in the long run
