My husband also dont like to buy a things but what he can do when my online order is arrivals nothing just paid :D but my husband point is im still long time to go cuz im only 20 weeks was i start buying a things. And now 27 weeks and still not completed i told him that day is running faster and im gonna poke his head if i give a birth and my baby stuff or things still not yet completed lol
My whole family won't let me buy anything lol. Everyone says to wait until the baby shower. My mom got the crib but that's about all we have and I'll be 33 weeks this weekend.
A bassinet and a swing are NOT needed. If the baby comes before those are purchased it isn't a big deal.
Those are items that can be purchased after the baby comes. I wouldn't worry about it.
As a parent its OK to want dcetythjbg set up before your baby gets here. Just because its not NEEDED doesn't mean its something you wouldn't like for you baby to have especially when you can afford it. I'm the same way I want everything completed when my baby gets here not after. Everyone's different some oroold care some don't
Im 31 weeks and my baby shower is August 15th, my husband also won't buy anything BUT it makes sense because what if everyone brings everything we need? So we are waiting. I'm due in September, I would also wait
Some things are needed before your baby arrives, one of them being a bassinet, that's where they will safely sleep. I was the one thinking to wait until my due date came closer before buying the basics- bassinet & car seat. I went into labor 3 weeks early. My MIL had to go buy the car seat. My bassinet was already purchased but i didnt pick it up from her house. So the night my baby came home, we were shuffling to get her bed here, move our bed around to make room for it & get it set up. So even if it seems early, it wouldn't hurt getting the bed now.
Has your husband talked to you about his feelings about your past miscarriages? Is he maybe scared you'll have another one? He may think it might, so maybe he is hesitant about purchasing anything for this baby at this early stage in your pregnancy.
I am due Dec. 31. When I asked my husband when we could start buying stuff, he suggested around Christmas time. Lol. I just laughed at him. I plan on buying a crib soon and doing a registry in a few weeks, when we find out the gender. My baby shower will be in Oct., so we will buy whatever we still need after that. Just talk to your husband about how you are feeling and he will probably be more open to buying stuff.
I say wait also...i wanted to start early like u but i ended up getting a lot from ppl already and am glad i waited. Try picking up random things or things u know you will need a lot of.
We won't be having a baby shower unless we have a boy since having a baby shower with each child is frowned upon by my family because we have a huge family and it gets to be expensive.
That being said we won't be purchasing a crib because we will be moving a few weeks after baby is due because we didn't want to have to lug around two cribs during the move.
Also if we have another girl my sister will be giving us clothes and I still have blankets and burp cloths from when our daughter was born. Only thing we'll have to buy is the big stuff like a car seat, dresser, bassinet, changing table and swing. And a breast pump if my insurance won't cover one. We won't be buying anything other than the swing and bassinet because they match and I wanted to take advantage of this sale. Everything else will wait until we are further along.
And husband isn't concerned about a miscarriage because we have been given the all clear from my doctor to go ahead and wing off of my progesterone injections since my levels have always been high.
