I feel ragged!

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and since the beginning of my pregnancy I haven't had the energy to do my makeup or hair but I feel so ragged all the time. I used to put together outfits, do my makeup really nice and hair and actually try but now I find myself throwing on the loosest item I can find but I just feel lousy with myself. Did anyone else go through this? Have any tips that can help?

I felt the same in my first few weeks, from being 5 weeks up to about 11 weeks! I'm not half as bad now at 14 weeks as my sickness has gone (hopefully for good) but the only solution I had was to take my time getting ready while sipping a cup of warm milk to settle my belly and force myself to go out even if it was to walk to my Mams house 20  mins away and go down the farm to see to my horse, but you really do feel better once your out and mind is occupied, I thought I was to weak and tierd to but it really does make the difference

I meant plan an outing every other day...not week.

Same thing with me...I'm 18 weeks. I found that my desire to get ready had dwindled so I didn't do it which in turn continued the icky tired feelings I had. So I decided to plan one outing every other week and force myself to just get ready. Hair and minimal makeup and a cute outfit. Even if its just to roam around a store. Once I forced it, I felt better afterwards when I was out and about. Sometimes you gotta force yourself to get out of the slump before you fall too deep in. The more often I do it, the more often I get that positive feeling and release of endorphins which in turn encourages me to keep it going. Hope this helps...it definitely helped me :-)

I feel the same way and I'm 11weeks.  I have no desire to dress up or put make up on.  I am lost for advice though.  I am seeking some too.

I feel the same way. Some days Ill put on a little foundation and mascara. Bought some cute comfy maternity clothes too. If you're not in a rush to get anywhere in the morning just take your time getting ready. I used to get ready so quickly but now my nausea and dizziness makes things harder lol
