Worry wort...

My doctor put me on Phengren for my nausea which has helped but my appetite is still gone. Even when forcing myself to eat It's not much. Im worried because I kind of feel like Im being brushed off. I wasnt even asked how much I eat daily. (For the record 1 meal takes me ALL day, I ate 2 pancakes yesterday and couldn't manage any more food). They weigh me and had me come in for check ups every week for 3 weeks because I was so dehydrated they wanted to make sure the meds were allowing me to better keep fluids down. Ive lost just about 20lbs (15lbs by their scales because I am weighed with clothes) but they say I am "managing okay". I consume 3-4 beverages a day. 1 or 2 is usually an Ensure to try and keep some nutrients in my system. It is very hard for me to eat. The though of eating something once I have it makes me sick and in turn very hard to eat. I feel like more should/could be done. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Im 10 weeks now and they keep telling me "only a couple more weeks", but my 2nd I had morning sickness for about 5 months. Im skeptical as to it "getting better".

I am 20 weeks and it's hard for me to eat most the time too. I have lost 30 pounds since I got pregnant and I take my vitamins every night and I drink alot of water and milk I also take a potassium pill with my vitamin. My Dr said he's not concerd either and my baby is perfectly healthy but I still worry as well.I have also heard that most of the time as long as ur doing what u can to make sure u and ur baby get nutrients and it's not ur first child then it can be a normal for you to lose weight instead of gain. Also drs don't normally start to worry until u get into the 2 and 3 trimesters.

I've always lost about 20lbs with each pregnancy but your thoughts are mine exactly. Im barely getting nutrients for me how much is the baby getting. Im sure the Ensure shakes and prenatals are not going to cut it.

Maybe you need to be put on a pump. To make sure the baby is getting nutrients as well as you.. my first I was sick for 6 months, my twins for over 3 months and this one I was sick for 2 months.. I hope you get better. This worries me that they maybe need to do something more.. 20 lbs and you are only 10 weeks.. that is a lot of weight
