Labor Story! She's Here!!!!!! (:

I was admitted Tuesday the 22nd due to having high blood pressure and I was 39+6 so they decided to just go ahead and induce me. I went in for me induction at 10 PM that Tuesday night and started me on cytotec. I only dilated another cm from the cytotec. But was having steady contractions. At noon I was at almost a 3 and they decided to break my water and start me on the pitocin. I did a lot of walking  and before I knew it I was at 5 cm. I was talked into getting my epidural at that point because of how fast everything was going. After the initial epidural I went from 5 to 7 cm very quickly. However after that I became increasingly uncomfortable and having contractions less than 1 minute apart. They tried to give me extra medicine a few times through the epidural and it just wasn't doing anything for the pain. My doctor checked me again and said she would give me an hour and if I didn't progress I was going to have to have an emergency c section. Needless to say I was not happy. With the epidural not working and being told that I was a blubbering mess. They decided to redo my epidural to see if placement had shifted because my baby girl was posterior (causing intense back labor.) They came to check me again a little less than an hour later and I had gotten to 9 and a half. Shortly after that I told my nurse I had this extreme urge to push so she checked me one more time and said you're at a ten time to push.
Needless to say after avoiding a c section and 24 hours of labor. I had my baby girl 7-24-14 at 159 AM . Weighing 7 pounds and 4 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. I had a minor minor tear not even considered 1st degree. Me and my boyfriend cried so much when she came out and we heard her cry. I'm so happy to meet my baby girl. She's so perfect♡

Thank you everyone ♡ I'm so thrilled to be a mommy. And after all the worries with my boyfriend and how he would be I've come to realize there's no other person I would rather be her father. He's so great with her.
