That's not abnormal. I didn't feel my second until 19+2

I am 39 and 2 with contractions that seem to do nothing. I'm hoping something happens soon. This is my first child so I'm ready to meet baby. We don't know the gender of the baby.

With my first I had no signs and was only dilated to 1cm at my 39+1 appointment and I gave birth at 39+3. You never know!

I'm 40 weeks tomorrow with contractions that do nothing but on the plus side I get induced tomorrow. With my first, my son didn't come til the day before I was going to be induced at 41 weeks. I was also induced with my daughter.

Right up until my due date there was no sign of the baby making an entrance whatsoever! There are some things you can try to get labour going but you should consult a doctor or midwife before trying anything! People kept telling me that the baby would come when it's ready but I know that's not what you want to hear when you just want to meet baby now! Good luck and congratulations x
