Legal Question about work & pay

So I work in a fast food restaurant as an assitant manager...so i have to move around a lot and whatnot.... I'm an exempt employee so i get paid salary instead of hourly.
My doctor took me off of a 4 day bedrest and now I'm back to work but light duty(sitting) only. Office work pretty much... Which my supervisor did offer me and agree to.
My question is can they change my salary legally due to work restrictions like this?
I've tried doing a little research but can't pinpoint it anywhere. I must be looking in the wrong places.
Another issue i have is that i have been doing all General Manager duties in the restaurant because that is what they were training me for.. I'm held accountable as a general manager and do all things-general manager. Yet they aren't paying me for it yet ...just slowly putting more GM duties on me over the past 4 months. I shouldn't have to ask for a raise but now I feel like i can't due to the fact I'm on light duty only now.
What do you guys think?

I work for a law firm and can tell you without a doubt that they cannot. The Pregnancy Discrimination Act protects things like that and establishes pregnancy as a temporary disability, making it a protected class. If they were to do that it would be discrimination and you'd have a lawsuit, which they wouldn't want to risk.
