about 4 weeks pregnant. I am so anxious, and worried about the growth of my baby. Is a ultra sound at 5 weeks too early?

It is a little too early. Put yourself on a prenatal vitamin so bub is getting the nutrients and minerals it needs and try not to stress.
If you can put of a dating scan until about 7 weeks, they will be able to see the sac and babys heartbeat.
If you were to go now they would only see a sac (in most cases) and will ask you to go back for another scan which some mother's freak over thinking they have lost their baby which generally isn't the case.

Congratulations nd yes it is you won't really see anything on the ultrasound as your baby is still quite small
