I love that you're wanting to try for a new experience! I've had three babies naturally - the first was by far the worst and I did get to the point where I felt like I couldn't do it. The good news is that about the time you think uou really, really can't do it is the time you're transitioning and you'll be pushing soon, which is always a HUGE relief for me!
It has helped me in the past to think of contractions as waves. Rather than trying to escape the wave, I 'lean into it' and try to embrace it and open my body to it.
I also highly recommend working out throughout the pregnancy and especially doing some kind of prenatal yoga! I feel like it is soooo beneficial to your body durong both pregnancy and delivery!
I've never had them try to push an epidural on me. I usually have a brief dialogue with the nurses on staff about what I am hoping for with the birth, and we go from there :-) Good luck!
I had a fantastic natural birth 9 pushes in 7 minutes! But I would say see how you go! You never know but if you can natural birth can be amazing!!
i loved my natural birth gonna try aging this time to just keep in mind that you can do it women have been doing this a long time
To be honest you never know what will happen. With my first i went all natural i just had my second a week ago and i planned on going to natural but i couldn't. The pain was too much i had to get a epidural after the doctor broke my water. And aahh it was the best no pain pushed my baby boy out in 4 pushes
My doc had no opinion on epidural vs. natural, and the l&d nurse was totally respectful of my choice and just said to let her know if I changed my mind. At least for me, it was totally a non-issue.
Hi. My names melissa. I am also on my second baby. I have a 18mo old daughter. And with her I went all natural. I was 19 when I had her. My doctor tried to get me to get the epidural. But I refused. It is completely your choice!!
Oh okay thank you i wasn't sure
My natural births were quick and easy, but that's not always the case for other people. And also, then can't force you to have an epidural or drugs, so all you have to do is say no if they offer.
