Nursery??!
I'm thinking about doing a fishing style nursery for my son and doing it as a diy project for me and my husband... got some ideas but would love others input. Also what ar you ladies doing your nursery in
Exactly. We're still not done with her room. Baby is coming next week and we still needed last minute stuff like a car seat and stroller. And right now we're doing all her laundry and just preparing. We'll finish her room when she gets here and while I'm on leave lol. But I still look around for ideas and stuff for the room when I can. Today I found the cutest sea shell book ends for $10 at Burlington. Perfect for all the books we got from her shower
Yeah my husband is super excited and wanting to go all out but we just got a new house and are balancing bills so we can spend alot but sometimes it is more fun to DIY and it makes the babys room unique and filled with love im so excited. My son is do in january and I only have 16 weeks left sometimes it feels like I have al always the time in the world to get things done then others I freak out cause its going by so fast lol.
And it was fun to do with the hubby. We def had to diy it and put our heads together on how to attach some stuff to the net. He surprised me when it came to attaching the shells haha. It's so cute how he's so into decorating the baby's room.

One cute thing I found online was the fish net with the baby's name. We did that for our baby girls room. And then just bought some under the sea decal. We painted the room coral and turquoise. I'm still trying to find/ make more under the sea things haha. But baby will never know when her room was finished anyways lol.
That what I have been doing butb I wanted other moms ideas because some of the cutest ideas dont get put on the internet lol. Im having a blast designing everything for this DIY nursery lol soon we will have to start actually making the things!

I'm having a girl and doing tiffany blue and lavender in modern designs but the fishing idea is so cute! You could have fish swimming around the crib and crazy loures on picture frames or whatnot. Just have fun with it! Great project for you two to do together.
That sounds awesome, my bf would love that if we have a boy! As I'm only 5 weeks our spare room is still a crafting/ music room. We are going to change it in the new year! Have fun decorating!
