Please tell me stories of successful amnio's

Hi everyone,
I just had an amniocentesis done this morning. And I am currently lying on my back horrified that I made a mistake and I'm driving myself crazy.     It doesn't help that I looked up stories of miscarriages caused by amnio's.     :/ please tell me some success stories.

My mom had one done 14 years ago and mylittle sister is a healthy 14 y/o now and i think you ahould be fine you know everything is better quality now than it was 14 years ago and if my little sister was fine your baby should be fine noe try not to worry :)

I was in your place 20 years ago,  Lynnie.  But everything worked out well and now I have a college student.  ;D

Amnios rarely end in miscarriage,  or they wouldn't do them.

Hi Lynnie... try not to stress out. Had one done with my daughter when I was 16weeks, I took 2days off from work to rest and to do as little as possible. And for the next week I took things easy at work just to be safe and all went well will the rest of my pregnancy. My daughter is a healthy energetic 18month old today with no problems. Stay positive, all will be fine with baby and your pregnancy. :)
