Quitting Smoking?

I am trying to quit smoking now that I'm pregnant and was wondering if anyone has tried the patch or vaping as an alternative? I want to be sure that it's safe.

Think about the health of your future baby. And just stop it. Be strong! You can do it without anybody help.

I've been a smoker, weed and cigarettes, for 10 years. I smoked all day everyday, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I quit cold turkey, and that is the best way to stop. It's not difficult, being a mother you have to do what's best for your baby. Just thinking about your baby should be enough to stop you from smoking. I don't even want to smoke knowing it could hurt my baby.

I vaped to quit smoking before I ever found out I was pregnant I was still vaping tho when I found out...a vape pen and the wcigs u buy from a gas station are 2 completely different things and my doctor told me my vape pen was completely safe but I did start getting juice for it that had no nicotine in it so that I could "fake" smoke and that helped a lot I found out I was prego at 4 weeks and by 6 weeks I wasn't doing anything anymore ...I had already been quit with real cigs for 9 weeks tho thanks to the vapes! They really do work!

You can quit without having to use a patch . You just have to want to quit for the good of your baby and yourself . I found out that I was pregnant on 12/21/2014 and since then I haven't smoked and I haven't thought about doing it because I know that it's harmful for my baby . Good luck and I know that you can do it !

I smoked for the first couple weeks bc I was always around it so it was hard to quit. Bug I eventually couldn't stand the smell or taste and I just stopped with no problem at all. I hope that happens for you ❤ but just think about the baby ❤

The ecig is not a good idea, it is not safe for you or the baby. You should discuss this with your doctor on quitting. I quit as soon as I found out, though I realize it is not as easy for others. I would talk to your doctor. But stay away from the ecigs.

My doctor told me the patch and or gum were the safest. Good luck.  It's hard but so worth it.
