Second baby after a c-section. Am 40weeks n 1day with no sign :(

I was hoping to have a natural birth this time around,I have been positive thought my pregnancy but am feeling disappointed and kinda sad, today was my due date but it looks like I will have to go for my scheduled c-section on the 27th. My last apt Dr said I was only 1cm which I have been for the last 3weeks, I lost my mucus plug a week ago with no signs of contractions what's so ever. The reason for my first cesarean was my baby boy was in distress and I was only 6cm after 10hrs. I just need your support to go on for these few days left. :(

Thanks ladies I wouldn't have done this without your support thanks a million. I am actually at the hospital my baby girl was born today at 3:15pm but throught a c-section and all is well.

I took all your advice i walked for atleast an hr the last three days, went up and down the stairs and also used the ball more. I started having contractions last night at 12am and it was 6mins apart by 2am it was getting stronger and went from 6mins to 4-5mins 30mins later my water broke, called the hospital went in they checked me and I was 2cm.

Later that morning at 7am i progressed very well while using the bouncing ball 4cm and later in the bathtub to 6cm I went till 7cm then received an epidural. By 8.5cm I was happy everything was going my way till the baby's heart rate started going down. And at that time the Dr and the nurses weren't happy with what they were seeing on the monitor, we tried all possition to see if there would be any changes but no luck.
At that point they made a decision to go in for a cesarean, I really wanted to wait a little long but also feared the worst.
I must say I am happy with what happend today other than if I had just accepted and wait till the 27th walk into the operating room myself and have my baby without trying the natural way. Thanks to you all, I would like to wish you all good luck with your journey.

Hi, I had a c section with my first & am now 15weeks with my second & dreading labour. Try & keep active, walking up & down stairs, get the bouncing ball out, red raspberry leaf tea(look in to this as I think only suitable for 3rd trimester, but if you are over should be fine) Above all stay positive, send some good loving vibes to baby & I wish you all the best & hope baby comes naturally for you. Xxx

Ask to reschedule you c_section a few days. Your body can do this. If you aren't already, try walking and don't stop if you start having contractions. I let my doctor push me in to a 2nd c-section for the same reason and I really regret it now that I am pregnant again with no choice this time :(

Thanks my dear,I have been trying to do all I can to get contraction going, I feel something pain in both my lower back and the front but only when am lying down ask soon as I get up the pain is gone. The hospital called me this morning to confirm my appointment which is on the 27th I tried to push it she said no I can't :( so all I have is today n tomorrow. I still can't fully accept the fact that I will be have a c-section and that I couldn't wait any longer oh God please help me.

Otherwise I wish you all the best with your pregnancy and pray that everything goes well for you.
Thanks for your support. ;)
