Im just readimg the comments to this question and wondering, if you don't produce much or any at all for like a day or so afterwards, do the hospitals have milk on the wards to provide you with? My SIL said that with her second she didnt produce much naturally and the baby was starving but the nurses wudnt let her "top up" so basically the baby cried with what we can only assume was starvation?!
This is my 5th baby. I don't produce anything until after delivery, and even then, it's not much the first day. Give yourself time. I'm glad I'm not leaking now.
I'm 34 weeks almost 35 and I have been leaking my whole pregnancy never really stop after my son was born and I only feed him my breast milk the first four months and he's about to be two....everybody body is different just have to wait on it
A lot of women don't lactate until they have given birth. Supposedly something to do with the uterus contracting sends signals to our breasts to start producing colostrum/milk. I'm almost 38 weeks and have had no sign of any leakage either. I'm scheduled for induction tomorrow
Try massaging your breast to stimulate the glands and that should bring the colostrum or just youtube hand pumping.
I'm almost 38 weeks and I'm still not leaking or anything
