How do I know if I am in labor????

I am 38 weeks and I am having really bad  back pain.so what should I do?? And my Dr say I have been  having contractions I just can't feel then so I can't time them.  So I do I know if I am in labor????

If its that bad.  Go to the hospital just to be sure

Once the contractions are 5 minutes apart then your actually in labor and that's when you should call the doctors. If you go any time before then, you'll most likely get sent home

Once you hit active labor you'll know. With my 2nd it was all back labor, felt like I had to poo. Once contractions got 10 min apart I knew. I had her in my 38th week.

Just a matter of having to find ways to deal with it and plenty of rest if you can just means you're getting there :)

If you can't feel them to time them you aren't in labour you will know the difference! Just the last push I'm afraid almost over!
