Stabbing pains

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and on Friday I was told I was 4/5ths engaged. i have these sharp pains right where your midwife would feel if your baby is engaged. It's so painful I have to lie back or even press my hand on the area to try and stop it. I constantly feel like I need to pee but when I go, I just trickle! Is this sharp pain the baby moving down? It's so painful! Oooouch. I can't stand up straight, I have to walk with a hunch

Hey everyone. I am new to this site but I need some good old fashioned support. I had a miscarriage and a stillborn baby in one year. My son died 4 months ago and I have a blood clot disorder. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and I am on lovenox. I am a little scared but full of hope and faith. I know through all the rain there is a rainbow waiting for me.

luckily I'm back at the hospital tomorrow morning, early doors. I'll see how I get on tonight, it will progress if it definitely is contractions right? I do feel like I have to poop aswell but it's more like the constipated feeling more than anything. I'm actually shaking I'm scared haha! My partner had a feeling she would arrive xmas day, could he be right?!!

I would say that those are contractions,  and i think you should call your midwife or go to the hospital because to me it sounds like your about to meet your baby soon.
Those are the same things I went through with my first child. Except i didn't feel like I had to pee, i felt like I had to poop. And my body automatically wanted to push...i went to the hospital and had my baby within 2 hours after I arrived. So go and get checked out.
