With my first child I had to have an emergency C-section because the cord was wrap around her neck and her heart rate was decreasing. 3 months after my daughter was born, I was pregnant once again with my second. Throughout my pregnancy my doctor assured me that it was looking good for a natural birth. My second daughter was born 11 months and 3 weeks after my first, and it was a successful natural birth. I was so beyond excited that I could experience that and also recovery was so much faster than after my c section. So if your doctor is seeing that things are looking good for you to give birth naturally, then I would trust that there's a great chance that it will! Blessings!!
My son who was my first was also an emergency c-section after an unsuccessful induction. My daughter was born 4 years later vaginally and it was a successful vbac! I am 4 days past due and my OB is letting me wait so I can start labor on my own. I am praying for another successful vbac.
My friend also had a VBAC and it went just lovely. They will monitor you closely during the birth anyway. Good luck :)
