Tens machine

I've had lower back pain all morning for 5 hours & it's not going away like it usually does. I'm due tomorrow so wondering or hoping more like that this is the beginning of Labour. I've got my tens machine out and it's helping take away this dull pain. Anyone else planning on using a tens machine or have had any experience with one, how was it for you? A lot of women don't know about it it's a shame because its a really good form of pain relief in my opinion..

It helped with my tummy pain also. On high it really took the pain away from my contractions. I'm using the Femme Tens machine. You stick pads on around your spine. Other day I was having Braxton hicks and I would turn it up when I was getting one. It helped. Although when I was in active Labour I remember begging for an epidural even with tens machine on. Ok then realized when I had baby it wasn't turned up all the way gosh was I kissed lol

Oh wait I just read it was for lower back pain! Which I don't get during labour, so maybe I won't use it then...

I've used it for other neck/back pain, but not in labour... I've always useddeep breathing for the way contractions and a warm bath for the really intense contractions at the end... Thinking of giving it a go this time for those medium intensity contractions before I get in the water but not sure...

Where on your body do you run it over? I feel like the uterus is so big that it wouldn't do that much...
