The final Ultrasound...
How far along were you when your doctor gave you your final ultrasound? I am 35+1 weeks and I have an appointment today so I was wondering if I would be able to find out how much my little man weighs.
Which was Tuesday. Couldn't really see him tho. He was so squished. Found out he's 5 lbs . My others were 10lbs each so now he's monitoring the weight & will induce a week before if he needs too . I'm paying for a 3d ultrasound nxt week tho. Just so I can get a good look & pictures
I got my final 33 weeks 2 days
I get ultrasounds whenever I ask for them my ob is very nice about showing me every time I have an appt maybe just ask n they will do one
My final ultrasound is at 30 weeks. I had my 20 ultrasound check up measurments etc now I'm having my very last one at 30/31 weeks.
My doctor said they would do one more at 40 weeks if I haven't had baby yet before they schedule induction. Prior to that, the 20 week scan.
Okay thank you! I have gestational diabetes so my doctor told me that she will do one more just to check on him and see how he's growing. I've heard that the weight isn't always accurate which *****!
My last one was during my 20th week with my first child - and I don't expect another with this pregnancy either (got my last at 19 weeks).
Unless your fundal height is measuring way off, or you're high risk for some reason, there is generally no reason to do an ultrasound so late in pregnancy. An ultrasound will not accurately tell you the weight of your baby - the estimates can be (and often are) off by two pounds or even more. They can figure out length, but weight is just a guess.

my last ultrasound was at 21 weeks and my Dr said she won't give me a ultrasound now unless there is something wrong. I want to c my baby boy now and c how big he is. With my 1st one my last ultrasound was at 25 weeks.
