UTI in early pregnancy? any advice?

I am currently having some bad stomach and abdominal pains, along with other symptoms, think I have a UTI. I have an emergency doctors appointment at 3 today but I am so scared that something is wrong. Has anyone else had UTI's in early pregnancy? Was everything ok?

I am 10 weeks 3 days. This is my second pregnancy but last time I lost the baby at 6 weeks so am struggling to know what feelings/symptoms are normal pregnancy things or things that should raise alarm bells. After my miscarriage I am worrying all the time.

Just educate yourself on any medications. Also, you cannot control anything.  Everything will work out the way it's supposed to and be ok!

I've had a UTI at 13 weeks and everything turned out fine. I was scared too because I was bleeding. I went to the emergency room and found out that I had one. They prescribed me antibiotics and i was fine after that. They checked on my baby and my baby was still alive and kicking. Good luck to you ☺

Uti's can be very common in pregnancy but they shouldnt be ignored..your doc will most likely give you an antibiotic to take which is safe..try not to worry everything should be fine

Please don't worry. I had a UTI at 12 weeks and took the antibiotics and it cleared up. I have a probiotic yoghurt everyday to try prevent another one. I also had a squeezed lemon in warm water every morning to flush it out. I'm 28 weeks now and all is fine. Definitely take the antibiotics though, that's the only thing that will clear it up. Good luck :)
