Our baby girl is going to be Lillian. It's an older name, but not very many have lillian. It's normally lilly or lilliana, but not the original. That is where I'm from though. Plus it was my great grandmother's name.
Go way up high in his or your family tree. There will be some names that are quite unusual and not seen all the time in this day and age, and they will have history too.
I like honoring a family member or special person with the middle name, so we tend to know the middle name first. First names, I have 2 requirements: there cannot be a spelling variation in the top 100, and it has to have a history that is something to be proud of. I start with a list of potentials, then narrow them down based on if I feel the name has an historical meaning that speaks to us. Nobody wants to name their daughter something that means "shrew"!

Hey mama, what me and my baby's father did was make a list of names we each liked and started from there. I picked the first name and he picked her middle name. Baby name books and Google helped me with a bunch of names :) take care!
You can always have a traditional name but call her by the shortened version. Ex: Eleanore "Ellie" "Nori" etc...
What is you partner name maybe you both can merge y'all names together to come up with a name for your baby like me and my fiance did
