hello!?

Can I lay on my back or is it bad for baby blood flow ??? 36 weeks !

as long as your comfortable on your back your fine. as your uterus gets heavier it wont feel good. but if you arent experiencing nausea dizziness or numbness in your legs blood flow is fine. you'll be affected before your baby is and those are signs to change position.  that's what my midwife told me at least. confirm with your dr. or midwife

Thanks for your post that helped me. I'm not that far along but have woken up afraid because I was asleep on my back not knowing when that rule applied (or why). I have my first appointment this week.

I asked my doctor the other day about this, and she said up to 27 was okay.And she said if you end up on your back u usally end up rolling over.

And yes bad for blood flow is what she said.

I read something about that on here.  I asked my midwife and she told my as long as I'm not directly on my back. I can be tilted a little so I sleep on my side with a pillow at my hip for just in case I roll over
