Name your child what you want! Natalie is a wonderful name.
I like her first name. It's an easy to sound out name and it doesn't require your child to constantly explain some unique meaning behind it, and can help them in life .
Guess what, it doesn't matter who likes it or not, no one has to live with that name but your daughter. And if she doesn't like it, she can always legally change it.
Pay everyone else No mind.
I love Arwen as a middle name! (LOTR fan)
Natalie was the name we had picked out for if our peanut was a girl, but since we're team blue, no Natalie for us. (This time)
Don't let naysayers drag you down. There will always be at least one,no matter what name you pick. <3
Nevermind i like the name. I maybe pronouncing It differently.
That is why I have vowed that no one gets to know the name we've chosen until the baby arrives. Way too many opinions. Keep the name you like and try to ignore everyone else!
The child will create the opinion of the name. Don't worry.
Dont let others bring you down. No one likes my name either in my family and a lot of people I work with don't like it. I'm naming my boy Gabriel and was told that is a girl name or its too long or other excuses. I told the girl who said it was a girl name thay it wasnt. He is being named after the ach angel Gabriel.
Natalie is a beautiful name! If that's what you chose and love, don't let other people's opinions sway you. We're naming our little boy Brantley Monroe (middle name is the same as my hubby's and his dad's), but my dad has made it known he doesn't care for Brantley, mainly because it's not one you hear often. We basically just told him it'll grow on him or he'll get over it!
It's an absolute beautiful name! Definitely don't second guess it an definitely not on the account of other people.REGARDLESS it's not for anyone to like but you and your husband! I agree that in due time it'll grow on them and they'll be on board they've no other choice! Stick to your guns it truly is a beautiful name! I also agree with the first comment!
I'm having a son ans decided too name him Micah. My sisters didn't like it, buuuuttt it didn't matter. Me and daddy love it so Micah Levi it is!
Good thing about it is it's not their child it's yours and you don't have too change it too suit anyone's liking but yours. I think the name is pretty unique and doesn't sound too bad together. I like it!
I don't like it either. What about nevaeh with is heaven spelled backwards or Natalie
Hahahahahahahahahhahhahahahaha Shanaynay lol I think Natalie is a beautiful name I know eexactly what you going through I'm from South Africa and my hubby is Xhosa tradition so my princess will have 2 names a Xhosa and an English name Nobomi(meaninglife) and I like Amber but that doesn't even sound right I'm so down coz people are mean when I tell them and its not like i have a choice so guess we should be strong and embrace your choice i will get use to mine lol
Don't let no one tell you how are to pick your child my family did the same I wasn't going for it so I said I choose the name and I like out so it's final I had to second guess my son middle and first name people wanted to give their consent and add ons about the name for my baby which is Dimonte Kieran Lester and I'm not changing it final decision and I'm sticking with it
Natalie Arwen is super cute and original if it's the name you love don't let others influence you to change it
Don't worry about it, they just need time for it to grow on them Natalie is a pretty name but as you would of done yourself picking possible names is go nah not that name I know a girl called that and she's a so and so ect...my little girls name will be Victoria it didn't get a warm welcome either mainly from me hubby picked it out and really adored the name it took me awhile to warm up to the name and my family but now nobody could picture it as anything different so give it time and really who cares it's not their child
They're old people who need a subject to talk about and debate lol. And it's not a name from their era, maybe they'd prefer Beryl or Sheila... Doesn't mean anything! My grandma hates all the names I pick! Natalie was on my girls list too, I love it.
