am I losing the mucus plug?
With my first I never had the time to lose it as had a c-section and with my second I dnt think I did until I was giving birth. Today and yesterday I have been getting slight cramps and when I go toilet and look at panty liner I see some light brown discharge. It doesnt have any kind of blood in it its just light brown and looks just a little thicker than normal discharge. Im confused and don't know if im slowly but surely losing the mucus plug or if I have some kind of infection... what do you ladies think? And if anyone has ever lost their mucus plug little by little could u please explain how it looked like? Thanks in advance!
Is normal is the old blood, it happened to me during my first month of pregnacy.

It just sounds like discharge to me, generally your mucus plug is clear or slughtly tinted yellow, and usually but not always has red blood running threw it. It has a gross snotty texture. To me it sounds like your uterus probably just got a little irritated and your slumping some old blood with discharge.
No it isnt a bad thing when ur ready for labour. Ur supposed to lose it. Its a sign of prelabour but some lose it way before their supposed to but thats also fine as it can grow back again. Ive just never experienced it so I wudnt knw what to expect especially when it comes in tiny pieces. I could easily have thought it a yeast infection

I started losing mind Friday. I usually don't pay attention when I go to the bathroom but I did Friday. What you're explaining is exactly what happened to me! I've had some on my liners since Friday.
With my 1st I had it.it came out when I wiped. Mucus with tints of red. .. this is my 3rd and I had blood/ brownish discharge. Went to the ER and they said was old blood and not to worry
Anyone?
