babies eye color

My baby is a week old and her eyes are a dark blue. Her daddy has dark brown eyes and I have green eyes. What are the chances of it either staying dark blue or changing to green instead of Brown..?

More than likely they will change after a while.

Most babies are born with marbled eyes and may in fact changed colors a few times for the first few months by month 3 or 4 they should settle to their definitive eye color

My son was born with dark blue eyes but by the time he was 4 months they switched to dark brown. I always thought most babies were born with colored eyes.but you never know

That was my brothers situation and the dnd he got green gray like eyes. They are lovely. I wish I had that color. For me it is more beautiful than blue.

My had has dark brown eyes and my mom has blue eyes with a little green in them, when I was born I had the blue eyes but as I started getting bigger they went away and I ended up having light brown eyes with some green in them and to this day that's been my eye color since

Her eyes can take a couple of months to change. So it is hard to say.  My husband and I both have hazel eyes.  Our daughter has very blue eyes. Both my dad and my husband's dad have blue, so that is where she gets it.
