I'm from New Orleans, so I did a black and gold/fleur-de-lis theme. Everyone wore their favorite sports team attire.

I did a safari theme and im using the same theme for the nursery. Look on pinterest if you have it, lots of great ideas on there.

I did a "shower theme" I had white balloons tied them all together to place on top of window to look like clouds & then used blue streamers & twisted them down to look like rain (or you can cut out rain drop shapes if you have time.) Umbrellas were hung by the corner. If you have Pinterest, they have very cute ideas too & pictures of what I described.

I just got back from a boy baby shower today and they did a vintage circus it was super cute ....they had a simple hot dog bar and cake and punch and just did like blue red and yellow streamer s from the ceiling to kind of look like a circus tent top:) and they had little bags of crackerjack popcorn and peanuts for the kids and favors
