Anyone ever get kidney pain or kidney stones while pregnant? This is my 4th pregnancy and with every pregnancy I have had, I get really bad pain in my right kidney which later result in kidney stones it occures more then one time per pregnancy, my doctor says it's normal... Anyone else's doctor said anything different please let me know thanks.

Taili2010 u just described exactly how I feel, I can't sleep comfortably and it wakes me up I drink lots of water but the pain is still there, with my last baby I was in pain so bad I was in the hospital for 2 days and sent home with pain meds the next day I peed out 2 kidney stones one was the size of a green pea I took it to my doc he was so surprised on how big it was.. that was the worst pain of my life, my c sections done even give me that much pain. I'm just sacred that I'm going to go through the same thing with this baby because iam only 15w5d and already in pain..

cambree67 glad to know another doctor says it's common in pregnant woman.. mine reoccurs only when I'm pregnant..

I haven't asked my doc about it yet but Ive always gotten bad kidney infections since I was a kid. So I know what the pain feels like, and with my first pregnancy I got one bad kidney infection that I actually thought was me going into labor, until I got to the hospital and found out it was my kidneys. This pregnancy my kidney seems to always feel swollen. Especially once I start feeling like I have to pee.  I can hardly get comfortable laying down because of it. I've never had kidney stones and would hope to not ever get them. I just want to get rid of the constant kidney pain so I can at least sleep better at night.
