puffy vagina normal??!!!

So I've felt pretty normal down there until after I got my cervix checked yesterday. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I'm prone to infections because my vagina is so sensitive. So when I got irritated after they checked it didn't really surprise me. The next morning I'm a bit itchy, raw and its hard to walk. I take a mirror and see that my labia and everything else is so swollen that it is actually pushing my lips apart. Like the inside parts are protruding outside. I thought this was caused by the check up but my bf says it was like that way before so then why am I know noticing it? Its bothersome and is that normal?????

Mine only did that one day & I freaked out. My Dr told me to take Tylenol & put ice on it! It went down & hasn't happened since.

Thank you ladies and congratulations to you both! I'm still freaked out but a lot more relieved to know about the blood flow. I'm always learning something new that's for sure!

Idk why it's like that but I've noticed mine is more puffy looking than normal ever since I got pregnant I guess because of the increase of blood flow down there, but mine only gets that swollen after sex but it goes back to that puffy state after a awhile

I am almost 34 weeks with my second child and I have been told it is your increase in blood flow. Your body does VERY crazy things right now and that is one of the $ crazy' things, maybe take a Tylenol if it hurts from your check up. Not to freak you out but just wait till after birth DONT LOOK DOWN LOL!
