burnt my belly.

So I was draining out noodles and got some hot water on my belly I'm 37wks can this harm baby? Just wondering.

Thanks for the replies it's not a bad burn at all but that much heat on my belly I thought my Lil guy would get grumpy glad it won't harm him.

I did the exact same thing burning my belly, with my second baby. She was and is perfectly fine. Hope your ok and next time just be very careful.

If it's just a first degree burn (redness, pain, localized swelling) you've got nothing to worry about. Indirect ice and aloe or other burn cream. If there is any severe blistering or open wounds you should be seen ASAP. It's very unlikely to be dangerous to your baby but burns are definitely a high risk situation.

No, your baby has so many protective layers around it, that it would be extremely difficult for it to have harmed your baby.
