I also went to cosomotology school and one of the first questions we were asked were if you could dye or perm a pregnant woman's hair my first thought was no but after realizing the chemicals are not actually going into your blood stream and won't be harming the baby you can do it, you just need to be in a well ventilated room where the chemicals won't be breathed in. My teacher also told me that yes sometime the color doesn't take but in the second trimester you should have better luck. Also they make ammonia free hair dye for mothers who are worried about the dye hurting the baby.

Actually you really shouldn't Bc the fumes can hurt the baby nd also bc you're pregnant your body may react differently nd May cause an allergic reaction to the solution. When I went to cosmetology school it said in the book when you're pregnant you shouldn't color or perm your hair or get your nails done with acrylic or anything but regular nail polish bc of the fumes.

Yes in a well ventilated area. But your hair is different while pregnant so it may not take the same as while not pregnant

Yes you can, just make sure you are in a well ventilated room when you do it. I Also suggest waiting until your second trimester because during your first your hair doesn't always accept the color or perm.
