Antidepressants during preganancy!?

Just found out I'm pregnant 2 days ago, I'm only 4 wks along but am on antidepressants which I know are not good to take while pregnant. I'm taking Effexor which is one of the worst during preganancy. My doctor thinks I should keep taking it because the 'benefits outweigh the risks' because I have severe depression and anxiety and that could also harm the pregnancy but I'm so worried. Does anyone have opinions on which antidepressants are considered safer during pregnancy? I've heard Wellbutrin, just very confused.

I had a miscarriage a few days later. I'm completely blaming it on the Effexor

I personally stopped taking mine and I was fine. My symptoms were pretty severe before pregnancy but honestly I felt fine pregnant well aside from the obvious mood swings lol

There are other anti-depressannts that are much safer to take during pregnancy. I think you should get a second opinion.

Please get a second opinion just to be sure and get reassurance ASAP.
