My doctor always brings up the fact I have gained a lot. It makes me depressed about going to him now. He is a very old fashioned guy.
I gained almost 30 lbs. And I'm 29 weeks my doctor wasn't concerned but was happy that this pregnancy I'm gaining. Me on the other hand I'm concerned with the amount I gained already and I can barely walk now I can't imagine what the next few weeks will look like
The amount you should gain is based on your starting weight. I'm just a little overweight and my Dr told me around 25 lbs would be right. So don't go based on other people. In later pregnancy ice found that you gain a lot of water weight which disappear quickly after delivery. Also you lose it quicker if you breastfeed. Worry will only make you and baby sick.
I was very athletic before pregnancy and although I'm really healthy and still exercise at 39weeks I gained over 50 lbs. Every body is different so don't worry.
Don't worry about it.... on my first pregnancy I gained more than 50 pounds... I was literally weighing 180 and after my pregnancy I went down to 115 in 5 months.... everybody didn't believe me I had a baby
I'm 31 weeks and I guess that makes me feel better... everyone says I'm too small and my county check up for food support said I didn't gain enough.. but as for your gain I wouldn't be too concerned, simply try staying as active as possible with walking and perhaps swimming etc, low impact activies :)
My doctor told me, you can go your whole pregnancy and should only gain 10-15 lbs. How far along are you and how much have you gained?

I'm actually not gaining enough and it scares me...
