does everything bug you?

I never knew how approachable I would become while pregnant! People from my work that I never used to talk to, and even random people out in town will just come up to me, touch my stomach, ask all sorts of questions and just talk for ages! I of course am not rude to them because I know they mean well, but I get so irritated by this! They all say to bring her by to visit when she's here, even people I just met! It boggles my mind, my boyfriend thinks it's just hilarious. Sometimes I feel silly for getting upset, but then again I have things to do, and I didn't really feel like explaining my life goals to 80 random strangers! Plus if they disagree with something and try to change my views, or try to tell me a better name for my baby I wanna snap! I'm sure you all get the same thing, I guess we're just too cool to stay away! Haha, but does it bug you ladies too?

It's honestly never bothered me. People are curious by nature and maybe they have no one in their lives to talk to, so reaching out to a stranger might just brighten their day. Take in the positive and forget the negative.

I work retail and thankfully I haven't had to work in over a week (due to my dr putting me on a leave before my maternity leave because I pulled a ligament in my rib), because I had 1 customer who always had to rub my belly everytime she saw me! And everyone always had to ask me what my baby's gender was and what I was going to name her and telling me all about their baby experiences. I wanted to always say I don't care! Lol. The worst always seemed to be all the people who had to try to tell me oh your girl is going to love her daddy when her dad isn't going to be in the picture. People always assume everything and I hate that.

I HATE when my mother in law touches my belly. She's really the only one who does besides my boyfriend. When he does it it feels fine and beautiful but when she does it just bothers me so much I want to scream and run away.

I had a lady (sales clerk) who was so rude and kept rubbing and rubbing and i was so upset (And hormonal i am sure) that i reached out and rubbed her belly.  My husband thought i was ridiculous (and really it prob is out of character for my easygoing petsonality) but it worked and we were finally able to check out and leave that store haha.

Ohhh girl, I feel the same way. Its like being on my period but 100x worse irritation-wise. Everyone has an opinion. Thankfully, no stranger has tried to belly rub. Nearly all family (except my hubby) knows that's off limits. I keep convos with strangers short. Like you I don't need to explain my childrearing to anyone. I get a lot of which language to speak at home because I married into a Spanish speaking family. Lots of people mean well but others are just nosy & think they're know-it-alls.ugh! Lol Try to stay cheerful :)
