Curious about mucus plug.

I know I haven't lost my mucus plug yet because I still have the normal discharge going on, but I never lost my mucus plug with my son. In fact when I went into labor they broke my water at the hospital. I am due March 17th so I doubt that I would even lose it any time soon, but how would know? Is it suppose to be a certain color? Is it suppose to be a big glob? Like I said I never lost mine with my son so I don't know the signs and I am curious to know.

A giant booger is a lovely way to describe it I suppose LOL. If its suppose to have a pink tint to it then I know I haven't lost mine and now know what to look for. Thank ya'll!!!

I was in the same boat. I never lost mine with my first either so I embarrassingly asked my dr. She said it looks like a giant booger and it's pinkish. I guess some people lose theirs in pieces tho. I'm due in 10 days and I still don't think I lost mine.

From what I've read (ftm here) it can come out all at once or in pieces. It'll look like normal discharge but have a result/pink tint to it.
