And it was never classed a sa terrorist attack. The man had no leads to IS. He simply was a troubled man who happened to to be Muslim and should have been behind bars to begin with. He had charges of being an accessory to his ex wife's murder, countless molestering chargers and had written horrible letter to the families of our fallen Australian soldiers.

How can you blame the police? They did absolutely nothing wrong and only shot the gunman dead. They waited what was it like 17 hours or something patiently outside while some of the best nogotiators were able to speak to the gun man. The gunman was starting to fall asleep so the Lindt manager saw an opportunity to try and grab the gun from him which ended in the gunman shooting him dead and meanwhile the others escaped. The police entered when they did because the guns shot was fired. The other woman who died was believed to have had a heart attack, she was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital. I think police and medical workers did an outstanding job and are not to be blamed for what this lone sick man has done. It was an absolute tradegy and I cried watching as the poor hostages escaped you just see the fear across the or faces. Everyone involved did an amazing job.

You can't blame the cops for this, they did the best job they could in that situation. You can't just run in guns blazing otherwise more people would of been killed or severely injured. They also had to make sure they had all the intel they could get before going in and they certainly didn't want to risk if the gunman, who was confirmed to be an accessory to murder charge out on bail, to have a dead mans switch (they didn't know until after they stormed in that there was no bomb involved). I blame thr gunman and no one else,  he held that gun to peoples heads and had a Arabic/Islamic flag (not confirmed on exact) hanging. They will probably never no the truth behind this. At the same time of this incident there was a mysterious package found at the opera house (still no confirmation on whetherit was a bomb) and they are unsure if it could be linked. Also keep in mind, earlier in the year the AFP and ASIO arrested 15-17 people involved in a plot to behead a random Aussie at the very area the hostages were taken.sorry for the rant (hormones don't help), its been building up since someone I know on fb made a comment saying the seals or swat should just go in and shoot their way through. He got the same response now as I am giving here.

Its her opinion if she blames the cops. If you dont like what she post or said then dont comment or dont read and move on to the next post. I dont understand why people on here have the need to say s.h.i.t and be negative and always trying to make people look stupid.! Everyone has their own opinions. Their are bad cops and their are good cops.

Sorry but i think that you shouldnt go around pointing fingers of whos fault it was. Here is something we all need to understand. We werent there. We dont know ehat happened. One story thats came out is that Tori (one of the victims) was shot while trying to take down the gunman. Dont blame the policeman they did all they could im so thankful they were there and it could of always been worse. I dont think anyone could do better then what those brave policeman did. People take what they see on the news and Internet and make up there own stories of what happened. Its so sad. Thank you to those brave policeman

It wasn't a terrorist attack. He had a history. He went in on it alone. Two hostages and the gunman are dead.
