So my fiance is in jail,  been in jail for two weeks now. He got transferred to work release yesterday so that he could help provide for our son. His public defender is trying to get his bail lowered so he can get out. In just feel like I am missing a part of me not having him here with me. Today I have to go to my doctors appointment alone for the first time since I started getting prenatal care. It is just so frustrating that Washington is a women's state because he shouldn't even be in jail because he didn't do anything. There is no evidence to convict him off what they are trying to get him for so why continue to profile him based on similar charges that were dropped?  I just feel so alone and miss him so much and this whole thing is his mother's fault and she should be the one to push to get charges dropped despite the state pressing charges because she has even told me she didn't want charges pressed against him. Or already get the case moved to mental health court because he is mentally disabled which will lower the severity of the charges. In am just glad he is okay though. I am thankful he still wants to marry me. And i know he is thankful I am by his side and a witness to the situation. But he still should not be in jail for what happened because it wasn't his faith

My family went through the sane thing with my little cousin.  She was facing charges for the same thing for the same reason but they couldn't prove it and it was moved to mental health court because she is bipolar so the state lessened to severity of the charges. My fiance us bipolar as well and the can't prove what happened. It is his mom's word against mine and his. But because we live in a women's state and I too am concidered mentally disabled because I have PTSD the don't want my statement. His public defender is pushing to get my statement into court since I was a witness though.

Stay strong momma!! I know it's a lot to handle, I am in a similar situation!! The system in America is so messed up! My husband is convicted of something that he didn't do and he is facing prison time!! We have court on the end of next month! We are soo scared and frustrated!
