Fakest friends vent !

So I asked my now ex best friend if she was ganna be able to make it to my baby shower next month ad everytime I txtd her she would ignore my txts but I know she was Txting everyone else back and THIER momma . But she would ignore me ? So tonight I tried one more time to ask her if she was ganna be able to make it and this time she finally txt back and said I can't make it . We'll to me it upsets s me a bit so I asked her why she could make it to everyone else baby shower and not mine . She wa a totally ****** and said the only reason I wanted her to come was so he could buy me stuff before we moved ? That's not my point Idc if she would have bought me anything at all even tho it's a baby shower I just wanted her to show and show me support and care like I thought she did . But apparently I was wrong and she was fake and two faced to start with . It's cool tho I'm just upset that she  really had the nerve to sayi wht she said it just pissed me off . Should I be mad or is it just my hormones

I'm sorry y'all have so much trouble with best friends. But not all are same. My best friend since 6th grade had a baby shower last year and being that I lived 4 hours away at the time and had no money to go and come back and had to get a lot of my shitt together, so I was unable to go, but I still made sure I told her and she told me she cried cus I couldn't make it but I sent her a great card that I wrote a long paragraph on just for her and sent the baby 3 gifts. I know she was sad I couldn't come but she knew my situation,anyways now that Ive moved back over here where I use to live im much closer to her and now that I'm prego I do expect her to come to my baby shower even though I couldn't make it to hers. Not all best friends are the same I've been on both ends, if those girls did that to you its better you not be friends with them anymore. Hope y'all feel better and find bew awsome friends (: . <3

Idk why best friend always end up being two faced. Not all of course. Last year when I got married my so called best friend text me the day before my wedding telling me to not wait for her cuz she was not showing up. We had been best friends since middle school. And she had everything for the wedding her dress, shoes and just decided not to show. I never did anything to her I didn't understand why. But it's better now. We don't need fake people around us!

But that's the thing we were planning to move long before we got pregnant . And she knew this . We had started to make plans for her to come down and visit us . Then when she had this smart a$$ comment where she said your only going to be like 4 months when you have your baby shower I'm pretty sure your suppose to have them when your like 8 months. That pissed me off to cause we are just trying to do it while we're here and can spend time with are family and friends before we move are next apt my doc said he would do a sex check ill be 16w and when she made it seem like we needed her to buy us stuff for our baby . Money is the least of our worries . By far . It's just crazy how fake your closest friends can be. . I just seriously never thought she would be like this or act this way we've grown up together she lived with me for years and I've always been there for here when things got bad or she just needed someone there .. It's just make me mad . But it's whatever tho . Life goes on just another person I don't have to worry about .

Well if your moving away she's probably mad that your abandoning her... But it's most likely hormones I wouldn't believe how mad I can get at certain things that never bothered me b4 maybe you should ask her what the problem is

I kno what you saying i am in the same boat, i had my shower june 9 and hardly no one showed up but everyone said they was. My best friend was the god mother to my unborn baby and she didnt show she decided to go out of town.. even family didnt show it hurt me very bad that i cried

Don't get mad just move on from her my ex best friends said they were going to come to mine but didn't and they never even called to say the weren't coming... for some reason when a lot of women become pregnant they loose a lot of important ppl or ppl they thought cared about them sad but true

I'm in the exact same situation. My shower is on Sunday and after not being able to talk to her for a month the first thing she says to me when she got a phone again today was that she wasn't coming to mine. I  hosted her baby shower two years ago, spent around 200 bucks, and took 7 hours off work, and she won't come to mine because she has a three hour shift and refuses to ask anyone to switch with her.
We have every right to be mad! This is a special occasion, it's not often people get together for good reasons these days, and the fact that our so called best friends can't make the effort to be there is a pi ss off.
