induced question...

Have any of you ladies been induced with a closed cervix? How did it go? How long was labor? Did you do it naturally?

I'll be induced on the 29th I've been dilated to a 1cm for a little over a month. So basically a closed cervix.
That's why I'm asking for others who were induced with a closed cervix! Thank you

Thank you ladies! I hope I have a good experience. My pregnancy has been pretty rough so maybe I will catch a break.

I got induced with my first when she was 5 days late. I wasn't dilated at all. She hadn't dropped yet. My mucus plug never came out. It sucked. They started me on an IV to bring on labor at 6pm. At 8am i was a 1. Then they gave me another kind of medicine. At, i believe 3pm, i was at a 4 and they broke my water for me hoping to speed ot along.  About 6pm i asked for pain medicine, I forget what it was called, but it wasn't an epidural. It lasted about 15 minutes. About 8pm i asked for an epidural. At 11 pm i was fully dilated and started pushing. She was born at 1:08am.  It sucked. My body was OBVIOUSLY not ready to go into labor. I wish I would have waited longer to see if it would've happened naturally
