From when I had the thing put in to when I had him was 10 and a half hours. But I guess everyone is different x
I've been induced without the epidural. It's not that bad.
Also my labors where I was induced took DAYS longer its like my body didn't want to start...
I've been induced a few times and not had the epidural... Extremely painful. I'm preg with number 6 and praying for no induction
I was induced and befor they started me off she said its more then twice as painful as a normal labour as the body lets off hormones and its natural chemicals set out to start you contractions.
With being induced your haveing to force your body to do what it needs to so its naturally going to be more painful.
I was induced and I had every pain relief while waiting for the epidural but the gas and air worked for a bit and epidural was the best for me.
I was induce at 41 weeks +4day I went in at 6 pm wensday had the tab that goes in you privet area my contraction started at 11pm that night just mild had the second tab at 1pm Thursday helped the contractions get stronger but still not painful and my waters started to leak a little
Friday at 6am was taken to get the drip machin to give my labour a good kick start witch you stay on till you give birth had my son Friday at 19:55 but it's not that bad just helps to get you moveing faster
And I had to have the rest of my waters broken
But it's not that bad at first but as it goes on your contractions get strong faster.
But you can make your mind up on the epidural on the day depending on how you find it just lission to your body on the day.
Good luck your be meeting your beautiful baby soon x
I've only given birth once so far. I was induced at 8pm started getting contractions around half nine. I'm usually quite good with pain but this was quite bad but I can't compare it to normal labour so. I gave in and got the epidural at 4.30am. I was convinced I was going to go natural but I couldn't take no more. Then I had my son at 6:30am I was gutted. I only had small amounts of epidural and was up and walking by 8am after I had been stitched back together. One of the midwives that was delivering my son said induced labours are usually shorter but more painful tho well that was her experience x
3 births for me and expecting our 4th any day. First birth was induced and the induced labor/contractions were much, much worse than natural contractions. I told my doctors I was not being induced with the others. Stayed home to labor as long as possible and walked into the hospital at 10cm dilated, no time for epidural, had our 2nd baby within the hour. The induced birth lasted 2.5 days.
im not going for the epi trying to do all natural, im just worried hes gonna get me induced
When being induced some women go into labor quickly u may be one of those that dilate quickly their is also pain meds that can be giving if needed I wouldn't suggest that u get epidural it bother your back it gives you servere back pain later on
The epidurals I didn't get it until I was 5cm
It hurts going in but coming out u can't fill it
