just venting

Today my mom and I went to the store. There was a young mom with a tiny baby that looked almost new born in a car seat up in the cart. We were there for well over 2 hours making cards ect. While this mom was walking around also. Her baby was crying at the top of its lounges and so red for well over the hour in a half that she was walking around. Not once did she pick up her baby or look to see what was making him cry so much. At some point she got so tired of it she litterally zipped up the cover of this car seat over her baby and left it at that. He was still crying. Just made me very upset :(

Even without the full story i still feel like zipping him up in his car seat and completely covering him wasn't right also. She didn't do anything other then tell everyone she didn't know what was making him cry so much!

There's nothing wrong with being upset but you must know the whole story first

That is sad, a small baby needs frequent changes and feedings. That poor baby was probably crying for food or a clean butt. I would have said something because I just can't help myself when it comes to kids. There is nothing wrong with you being upset.

The baby might have been suffering from colic and there's not much she could have done unfortunately, only stay at home until the baby grew out of the colic which can take months. This might not be the case but remember just cos baby's crying doesn't necessarily mean she's a bad mom
