knowing the sex

I'm only 9 weeks and I was wondering what is the earliest you can find out the sex to your baby. I'm so impatient lol.

Yea 16 weeks but no one in my area will do it till 18 weeks n some refuse till ur 20weeks I get my on xmas eve thanks to my midwife who calked around for someone who would do it at that date for 18weeks I have to travel hour n half to get it done tho cant wait hehe

With an ultrasound you can find out as early as 16 weeks.  There is a test that you can take to find out. I can't seem to remember the name of it. I talked to my doctor about it. She said that they don't do the test unless you are considered high risk because it's the only way the insurance company will pay for it. The test can cost about $1500.

I was 20weeks when i found out, my doctor made me wait for a more accurate result. #TeamPink

16 weeks is the earliest but doctors usually wait until 18 or 20 weeks for a more accurate ultrasound....I was 22 weeks when I found out.
