questions about first doctor visit
My wife has her first appointment on September 8th with a nurse at the obgyn. She'll be nine weeks. What should we expect during this visit?

They will take her weight, blood pressure and urine sample and then you will just sit with the nurse and talk about her medical history and just give you information on what to tedious (what you should and shouldn't do or eat. Etc) then they will probably schedule a Dr visit for 2-4 weeks out.
A lot of questions, her first scan, and u/s (ultra sound) pics, blood work, weigh in, pamphlets on pregnancy, a book that walks her through her pregnancy months 1-9 includes info on postpartum depression. The book is really interesting and is right in point (was with me).... Hope this has helped and huge congrats to the both of you :-)
