losing weight and 23 weeks

Okay so first let me say that i have a thyroid issue. I'm on synthroid 75mcg daily. I have under active thyroid. Well at wic today they weighed me, and I've lost about 20 pounds already. When I first got pregnant I was about 275, now I'm at 253. My doctor doesn't seem worried but I am. Idk. And also, how much of my weight is baby and water now? Like because obviously some is bab y.

I was constantly worried with my first and now with my second that I hadn't gained enough but my doctor tells me I'm fine, especially because I am overweight. Part of itis eating healthier, but also the thyroid medication that I take as well

I'm over weight and at 14 weeks, I have lost 6 pounds.  My dr says is completely normal for over weight women to lose weight during pregnancy.  Mine is not worried either.

Underweight women often need to gain more than the average when pregnant, and overweight women can sometimes go the whole pregnancy without gaining a thing. If your Dr isn't worried, I wouldn't be either, because while you are losing weight, you probably have enough stores to take care of your baby too.

Yeah I asked and she said it is ok. But its still scary. And thank you AmKeel you've made me feel a little better. I know the medicine is regulating my thyroid so I'm losing all that I gained so quick. Thank u ladies

I lost a little over 20 pounds up until I was about 23 weeks pregnant I have now gained that weight back and weigh what I weighed when I got pregnant. I never had a thyroid problem but from what I was told it normal my Dr wasn't ever worried about it he said it was just part of pregnancies. But I was like you beyond worried about it thinking something was extremely wrong with me. But just wait and see if you start to gain weight back. Because its common during pregnancies to lose weight
